Privacy notice
Privacy designed for a smaller employment footprint.
ApplySafer processes the minimum information needed to provide accounts, obtain consent, moderate contributions, prevent abuse, operate employer claims and maintain necessary audit records. We do not sell personal data and do not operate a CV upload, resume relay, or applicant database.
Purpose and minimisation
We use account details to authenticate users and operate permissions; review content and limited moderation records to run the reviews service; and employer claim details to protect company profiles. Applications happen on the employer's external site. Do not include names, contact details, or sensitive personal information in reviews.
Official-source records
Company intelligence records retain source URLs, source references, retrieval and expiry information, matching rationale, and human review history. Public material can be incomplete; official decision links are separate from reviews; and claims are reviewed with their source shown. Employees and employers can request correction or challenge.
Location and currency
Where the host provides a coarse country header, we use it only during the request to choose a default display currency. We do not save IP addresses, exact location, or a long-lived geolocation profile. A manual currency choice is stored only in your browser.
Your choices
You can request deletion of your account or contributions. Some limited data may need to be retained where necessary for legal claims, security, fraud prevention, or compliance. See our retention information for the categories and approach.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller for ApplySafer is Nikah AI Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17199968, registered office Office 1216, 60 Tottenham Court Road, Fitzrovia, London W1T 2EW. Nikah AI Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZC176381.
Contacting us, and complaining
For a subject access request, correction, erasure, objection, restriction or portability request, or any other privacy question, write to privacy@applysafer.com. We aim to respond within one month, as UK GDPR requires. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by telephone on 0303 123 1113.
Processors we use
Payments are handled by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd; card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout and never reach ApplySafer. The site and its database run on infrastructure operated by OVH in the EU. Transactional email is sent from our own mail server. Product analytics, where enabled, are processed by PostHog. Company registration facts come from Companies House, a public register.
